1. Controller and Privacy Officer
WUW Agency, a business registered in Quebec, Canada, is responsible for personal information processed through this service. Contact the Privacy Officer at privacy@wuw.agency.
2. Information we collect
We collect full name, email address, mobile number, account and authentication data, consent choices, authorized applications, security logs, recovery activity, and technical information required to operate the service. We do not receive your password in readable form.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify identity, provide two-step authentication, grant access to approved applications, recover accounts, prevent fraud, comply with law, and deliver requested communications. Promotional communications rely on separate, optional consent.
4. Email and SMS
Security codes, confirmations, and essential account notices may be sent when requested or necessary to protect the account. Commercial email or SMS is sent only where valid consent or another lawful basis exists and includes WUW Agency identification and an unsubscribe method. Reply STOP to commercial SMS or use the email unsubscribe link. Withdrawing promotional consent does not stop essential security notices.
5. Disclosures and providers
We limit disclosures to approved WUW applications and necessary providers, including infrastructure and security providers, Supabase for identity and data, Twilio for verification and communications, and providers expressly connected by a customer business. Each provider is limited to its contracted purpose.
6. International transfers
Providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Before information is communicated outside Quebec, we assess relevant factors and use reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards. Information may be subject to the laws of the processing country.
7. Retention
Account records are retained while the account is active and for up to 24 months afterward; security and delivery logs for up to 24 months; consent evidence for up to three years after withdrawal or closure; and backups for up to 90 days. Longer retention may apply for law, litigation, fraud prevention, or legal claims. Information is then deleted or anonymized.
8. Security
Safeguards include encryption in transit, access controls, two-step authentication, audit logs, attempt limits, and fraud controls. No system eliminates all risk. Incidents presenting a serious risk are handled and reported as required by applicable law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about applicable automated decisions. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact privacy@wuw.agency. We may verify identity before responding. You may also complain to Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information or your local regulator.
10. Cookies and local storage
This portal uses only storage strictly necessary for sessions, security, language, and consent preferences. We currently use no advertising cookies.
11. Children
The service is intended for people who have reached the age of majority where they live and is not designed for children.
12. Changes
Material changes will be clearly posted with a new effective date, and renewed consent will be requested where required.
